Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education Grant
The primary objective of the Fund for Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) grant is to rethink career exploration for students and offer a online program that is informative, developmentally appropriate, and tailored toward guiding students through the critical process of making strong, informed career decisions.

Purpose and Priority
The purpose of the FIPSE grant is to:
- Increase student awareness of many careers and increase teacher/counselor knowledge of education and training pathways for careers to they can provide guidance.
- Identify education and training options (including non-college programs such as work-based learning opportunities; military training, and sponsored training) that enable entry into or advancement in those careers.
